For the meatballs
1 onion
1 tsp butter
600 grams Ground beef
3 Tbsps chopped parsley
1 egg
salt
peppers (from the mill)
1 tsp dried oregano
2 Tbsps olive oil
For the vegetables
1 onion
1 kilogram Braised Cucumbers
2 Tbsps butter
200 milliliters Vegetable broth (Instant)
2 Tbsps chopped Dill
80 milliliters Whipped cream

Preparation steps

1.

Peel onion, chop finely and fry in 1 teaspoon melted butter until translucent. Mix onion with ground meat, parsley and egg. Season with salt, pepper and oregano. Form mixture into small meatballs. Heat oil in a pan and fry meatballs over medium heat. Remove from heat and keep warm.

For vegetables peel onion and dice finely. Peel cucumber, halve lengthwise and remove core with a spoon. Cut cucumber into cubes.

In a pan fry onion in hot butter then add cucumber. Pour vegetable stock into pan and simmer vegetables over low heat, covered, for 15 minutes. Then stir cream into cucumbers and let cook briefly.

4.

Put meatballs with cucumbers on plates. Sprinkle with dill to serve.
