- 4 small Blood orange
- 40 milliliters Marsala wine
- 40 milliliters Orange liqueur
- juice of Blood orange
- ½ tsp ground Vanilla
- mint (for garnish)

With a sharp knife, cut off peel and bitter white pith from oranges. Cut oranges crosswise into 0.5 cm (1/4-inch) thick slices. Reserve any accumulated orange juice from slicing.

Mix together marsala, orange liqueur, orange juice and vanilla. Pour over orange slices and let marinate 1 hour. To serve, divide orange slices among dessert bowls and top with juices. Garnish with mint.
