750 grams Blood orange
250 grams jam sugar (2:1 ratio)
1 Vanilla bean
2 Tbsps lemon juice
1 pinch cinnamon

Preparation steps

Peel the oranges and remove the seeds, then cut into small cubes. Mix the fruit with the sugar, and let marinate overnight. The next day, slit the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Mix the lemon juice, cinnamon, vanilla pod, vanilla seeds, and the oranges in a saucepan.

Bring to a boil, and cook for 4 minutes. Remove the vanilla pod and fill the prepared jars to the brim with the jam. Seal immediately, and decorate with a ribbon.
