- 2 ripe Mangoes
- 3 red onions
- 1 green chili pepper
- 1 Tbsp freshly grated ginger
- juice of Limes
- 150 milliliters Pineapple juice
- 125 grams brown sugar
- 80 grams raisins
- 1 Tbsp Curry powder
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground allspice

Preparation steps
1.
Rinse, peel and slice mango away from pit. Cut mango into small cubes.

Peel and roughly chop onions. Rinse and halve chile lengthwise, remove seeds and ribs, and finely chop.
3.
In a pot, combine lime juice, 125 ml liter (approximately 1/2 cup) water, pineapple juice, sugar, raisins, curry powder, cinnamon and allspice. Bring to a boil and simmer over medium heat about 5 minutes.
4.
Add mangoes, onions, chile and ginger and cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, about 25 minutes. Let cool and serve cold.
