- For the muffins
- 250 grams Whole wheat flour
- 200 grams Lychee (canned, chopped)
- 50 grams slivered almonds
- 1 pinch Nutmeg
- 2 ½ tsps Baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 egg
- 100 grams sugar
- 80 milliliters vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 250 grams acid Whipped cream
- Parchment paper
- melted butter
- Lychee (for garnish)

Preparation steps
1.
Combine flour, lychees, almonds, nutmeg, baking powder and baking soda.
2.
Beat eggs in a large bowl. Stir in sugar, oil, sour cream and lemon juice. Stir in flour mixture.
3.
Line a bamboo steamer with parchment paper. Shape dough into dumplings, coat with melted butter and place in the steamer. Boil some water in a wok (or matching pot), add the steamer, cover and steam for 25 minutes
4.
Remove from steamer and serve garnished with lychees.
