1 cup small vegetable oil
2 garlic cloves
1 Tbsp Cumin
1 Tbsp Curry
1 Tbsp cayenne pepper
3 sprigs fresh cilantro

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and drain lentils. Peel garlic and chop finely.

Heat oil in a saucepan. Add garlic, lentils and spices and sauté for 10-15 minutes. Pour in water until all the ingredients are just covered and cook until the lentils are tender. Rinse the cilantro and pluck off the leaves. Serve lentils sprinkled with cilantro.

If desired, serve with naan.
