1 sheet Puff pastry (prepared)
For mousse
4 cups fresh Strawberries (hulled and halved)
½ cup sugar
1 oz instant vanilla pudding mix
4 cups Topping (thawed)
For berries
1 Tbsp butter
2 cups fresh Strawberries (hulled and halved)
¼ cup sugar
1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar

Preparation steps

For pastry:

Prepare sheet of puff pastry according to package directions. Break apart into 8 rough pieces. Lightly dust with powdered sugar and set aside until ready to serve.

For mousse:

In a food processor combine strawberries and sugar; cover and process until smooth. Strain mixture and discard seeds. Return mixture to processor.

Add pudding mix, cover and process until smooth. Transfer to a large bowl. Fold in whipped topping. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

In a large skillet melt butter over medium heat. Add strawberries, sugar and vinegar.

Cook until strawberries are heated through and darkened. Remove from heat and cool until ready to serve.

For each serving arrange balsamic strawberries, puff pastry and strawberry mousse artfully on a plate.
