- ½ cup soy sauce
- lemons (juiced)
- 2 Tbsps caster sugar
- 1 clove garlic cloves (crushed)
- 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Sesame seeds
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 2 Salad onions (finely chopped)
- 2 Sirloin steak (cut into strips and cubed)
- 2 Red onions (finely sliced)

Preparation steps
1.
In a long glass pan, mix the soy sauce, lemon juice, sugar, garlic, ginger, oil, sesame seeds and chopped salad onions.

Thread the steak onto the bamboo skewers, pushing the skewer in and out as though sewing. Place skewered meat in marinade, turn to coat all sides.
3.
Cover and place in the fridge to marinade for 4 hours and then drain.
4.
Grill, griddle or barbecue about 2 minutes per side. Serve with finely sliced red onions and fragrant rice.
