- 4 Ciabatta
- 4 Lettuce
- 300 grams Pumpkin (peeled and seeded)
- 1 fresh Mozzarella
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 12 marjoram

Preparation steps

Slice each ciabatta horizontally, but not quite all the way.

Rinse the lettuce leaves and pat dry and place in the Ciabatte.

Preheat oven broiler. Cut pumpkin into slices and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drain mozzarella, cut into slices and place on baking sheet with pumpkin. Pluck the marjoram leaves from the stems and finely chop the leaves. Sprinkle over pumpkin and cheese and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper, and place under preheated broiler for about 3-4 min, until cheese melts. Lay the pumpkin on the lettuce leaf and top with cheese. Serve garnished with remaining marjoram.
