Ingredients

1Ciabattini (or baguette roll)
2 slicesBacon
½ cupsfresh Buffalo mozzarella ball
6cherry tomatoes
Red onions
salt
freshly ground peppers
balsamic vinegar
olive oil
Basil leaves

Directions

1 Split the ciabattini and toast in the oven (or in a toaster).
2 Heat a little olive oil in a frying pan and fry the bacon until crisp. Drain and slice the mozzarella. Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes. Slice the onion.
3 Brush each ciabattini half with a little olive oil and top with the bacon, mozzarella, tomatoes and onion. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Serve garnished with basil.
