cup Basmati rice
1 ⅔ cups milk
¼ cup cream
6 Saffron
¼ cup brown sugar
cup Pistachio
cup slivered almonds
1 Tbsp raisins
1 tsp Rose water
Cardamom powder

Preparation steps

1.
Put the rice, milk, cream and saffron in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Cook, covered, over a very low heat for around 10 minutes.
2.
Stir in the sugar, pistachios, almonds, raisins, rosewater and a pinch of cardamom. Cover and cook for a further 10 minutes until the rice is cooked.
3.
Serve in dessert bowls.
