- 4 Chicken breasts (approx. 150 g each, ready to cook, cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice
- For the marinade
- ⅞ cup Yogurt
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 2 tsps Tandoori spice mix (ground cumin, nutmeg, coriander, pepper, paprika powder, turmeric)
- 2 tsps fresh ginger
- 2 cloves garlic cloves (crushed)
- For the raita
- 1 Cucumber (grated)
- 1 ⅛ cups Greek yogurt
- 1 Tbsp parsley (chopped)
- 1 Tbsp mint (chopped)
- ½ tsp Cumin powder
- ½ tsp Coriander

Preparation steps
1.
Place the chicken in a shallow dish and season with ground black pepper and lemon juice. Leave to steep for around 30 min.

To make the marinade, mix together the yoghurt, oil, tandoori spice mixture and the ginger. Stir in the garlic and mix with the meat. Cover the dish and leave to marinate overnight in the fridge.

To make the raita, mix together the cucumber, yoghurt, herbs and spices and season with salt and ground black pepper.

Skewer the meat onto sticks, place a piece of aluminium foil on the grill rack and place the kebabs on it. Grill for 8-10 min turning occasionally. Brush with the marinade every so often. Serve with the raita.
