- 2 garlic cloves (crushed)
- 1 walnut-sized ginger (grated)
- 4 Tbsps sesame oil
- 4 Tbsps Lime juice
- 2 Tbsps Yogurt
- ½ Tbsp tomato puree
- ½ tsp ground Cardamom
- 1 tsp ground cilantro
- 1 tsp ground Cumin
- ½ tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 1 pinch ground cloves
- 4 Chicken breasts skinned and cut into 1 cm(1/2") strips
- salt

Preparation steps
1.
Mix the garlic, ginger, sesame oil, lime juice, yoghurt and tomato purée. Stir in the cardamom, coriander, cumin, turmeric, chilli and cloves.
2.
Add the chicken, cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
3.
Cover a grill pan with foil. Remove the chicken from the marinade, place on the grill pan and grill for 3 minutes until the meat is just brown. Turn and grill for a further 3-5 minutes.
4.
Season with salt and serve with the lime slices.
