- Ingredients
- 4 cups strong black Coffee
- 250 milliliters milk
- 250 grams Whipped cream
- 100 grams sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 egg
- 100 grams Dark couverture chocolate
- 20 grams cocoa powder
- 50 grams Macadamia Nuts
- cocoa powder
- almond cookie (Italian)
Preparation steps
1.
Chill the coffee in the refrigerator.
2.
Bring the milk, cream, and half of the sugar to a boil. Mix the egg yolks, egg, and remaining sugar in a metal bowl. Place over a hot water bath, and beat until foamy. Add the milk and cream mixture to the egg mixture and whisk until combined. Melt the chocolate, then add to the egg mixture with the cocoa powder and the nuts. Place the mixture into an ice cream machine. Alternatively, you can place the mixture in a shallow metal pan and place in the freezer. Freeze for at least 4 hours, stirring frequently.
3.
Fill the coffee into cups, and top with the ice cream. Sprinkle with cocoa powder, and serve with the cookies.
