Preparation steps

Slit the vanilla pod, scrape out the seeds and place the seeds and pod in the milk. Bring to a boil and remove the vanilla pod. Chop the chocolate and dissolve in the milk, stirring constantly.

Pour the espresso into tall glasses. Gently pour in the chocolate. Stir in the caramel syrup. Serve hot.
