- 2 shallots (peeled)
- 3 cloves garlic cloves (peeled)
- 2 red chili peppers (deseeded and roughly chopped)
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 cilantro
- 3 Tbsps Oil
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 4 Tbsps Yogurt
- 6 cups Lamb shoulder (cut into cubes)

Preparation steps
1.
Place the shallots, garlic, chilli, cumin, fennel, coriander, oil, lemon juice and yoghurt into a food processor and blend until you have a paste.
2.
Place the lamb cubes into a large bowl, mix in the paste and set aside to marinate for 2 hours.
3.
Heat the barbecue or grill (griddle) to hot. Thread the lamb cubes onto metal skewers and cook for about 6-7 minutes, turning frequently.
4.
Serve garnished with the coriander.
