Preparation steps

Preheat oven to 140°C (approximately 300°F).

Halve tomatoes and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil and the lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Bake about 35 minutes.

Toast baguette slices in the toaster until golden-brown. Peel garlic and cut in half. Rub bread with cut sides of garlic. Brush bread with remaining olive oil and layer with ham and tomatoes. Garnish with basil and serve with olives.
