- 1 Baguette (cut into 24 slices; approximately 1/4-inch thick)
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ½ cup Pesto (store-bought)
- 12 thinly slice Plum tomato
- 24 fresh Basil (washed and dried)
- ½ cup Pine nuts

Preparation steps
1.
Preheat broiler. Place baguettes slices on a cookie sheet and using a pastry brush, brush each slice lightly with olive oil.
2.
Place under broiler and broil until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Remove from oven.
3.
To assemble, spread a small amount of pesto on one side of each baguette slice. Then place five or six slices of tomato on top. Next, place a basil leaf on top of the tomato, followed by a sprinkling of pine nuts. Serve immediately.
