- 600 grams Spinach (frozen)
- 1 onion
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- Nutmeg
- 150 grams cooked ham (sliced)
- 500 grams Tomatoes
- 100 grams grated Emmentaler cheese
- 2 Tbsps Crème fraiche
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 Tbsps butter
- Fat (for the pan)

Preparation steps
1.
Thaw the spinach according to the package directions.
2.
Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat the oil and saute the onion until soft.
3.
Peel and squeeze the garlic into the pan. Add the spinach and briefly saute. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Remove from the heat and let cool slightly.
4.
Cut the ham into thin strips.
5.
Scald the tomatoes, peel and cut into eighths.
6.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).
7.
Mix the ham, half of the grated cheese, creme fraiche, oregano and spinach. Fold in half of the tomatoes.
8.
Grease a baking dish and pour in the mixture. Spread the remaining tomatoes on top and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese. Distribute pieces of butter on top and bake for about 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve hot.
