12 small, waxy potatoes
120 grams Sliced cheese
120 grams cooked ham (sliced)
2 sprigs Sage
2 Tbsps butter

Preparation steps

1.

Boil the potatoes for about 20 minutes until tender. Allow to cool slightly, peel and let cool completely. Then cut in half lengthwise.

2.

Cover each half with a piece of cheese and a slice of ham. Halve or fold them if necessary. Place the second potato half on top and cover with 2-3 rinsed and dried sage leaves. Tie with kitchen twine and fry in some butter for about 8 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Serve hot or cold.
