- 2 slices Puff pastry dough (each 300 grams)
- 600 grams button Mushroom
- 2 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 250 grams ham
- 200 grams Cheddar cheese
- 2 egg yolks
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 2 Tbsps chopped parsley (for garnish)
Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Roll puff pastry roll about 0.5 cm (approximately 1/4 inch) thick. Clean mushrooms and wipe with a damp paper towel. Cut mushrooms in half or cut into cubes. Peel the onions and the garlic cloves and chop finely. Cut the ham into cubes. Finely grate cheddar. Brush puff pastry with the egg yolks and cut into squares about 5 x 5 cm (approximately 2 x 2 inches). Spread the onions, garlic, mushrooms and ham over the middle of the squares. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. Serve hot sprinkled with parsley.
