Ingredients

For Pasta Salad
16 ozs black Pasta (noodles)
2 ribs Celery (rinsed; trimmed and thinly sliced)
2 red Bell pepper (rinsed; seeded and thinly sliced)
4 scallions (rinsed; trimmed and sliced)
3 orange Bell pepper (rinsed; halved and seeded)
For the Dressing
2 cloves garlic cloves (peeled and grated)
fresh ginger peeled and grated (about 1-inch)
2 Tbsps Rice vinegar
2 Tbsps Rice wine (or sherry)
4 Tbsps light soy sauce
1 tsp toasted sesame oil (to taste)
1 tsp toasted Sesame seeds
In Addition
fresh Basil (for garnish)

Preparation steps

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Rinse under cold running water and drain well. Place drained pasta in a large bowl with the celery, red peppers and scallions. Set aside.

Using a small sharp knife cut bone shapes from the orange peppers and add to the bowl with the pasta salad.

In a small bowl, whisk all the ingredients together. Drizzle over the salad and toss until thoroughly coated. Garnish with fresh basil. Chill until ready to serve.
