1 small red chili pepper
½ tsp dried oregano

Preparation steps

Peel and finely chop garlic. Halve chile pepper lengthwise, remove seeds and ribs, rinse and very finely chop. For the marinade, mix oil with garlic, oregano and chile. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.

Rinse lime with hot water and cut into eighths.

Rinse shrimp, pat dry and brush with marinade. Thread 3 shrimp and 2 pieces of lime onto each skewer and brush with marinade. Place skewers on a hot grill and cook, turning frequently and brushing with marinade, about 10 minutes. Before serving, drizzle with remaining lime juice.
