- 2 Ribeye Steaks (prime rib, about 800 grams, with bone, about 4 cm thick)
- 1 red onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 thyme
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 2 bay leaves
- 6 Tbsps olive oil
- 2 tsps crushed Steak seasoning
- 2 Tbsps Sea salt

Preparation steps

Rinse the ribeye and pat dry.

Peel the red onion and cut into rings. Peel the garlic and cut into wedges. Rinse the herbs, shake dry, strip the leaves or needles and chop. Mix the herbs with the garlic, onions, bay leaf and olive oil, and marinate the ribeye in it for about 30 minutes.

Heat the grill up and place the ribeye over it. Grill for 5-8 minutes from each side. Take the ribeye off the grill, let rest briefly, loosen the meat from the bone, and serve sliced. Serve at choice with vegetables.
