Ingredients

- for the corn
- 4 Corn (fresh)
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground paprika
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 Tbsps butter
- for the tomatoes
- 8 Tomatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp peppers
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp dried Sage
- 2 Tbsps chopped parsley

Preparation steps

For the corn: Shuck the corn cobs and cook for 15 minutes in boiling salted water. Drain well.

Mix the salt with paprika and oil and sprinkle onto the corn cobs on all sides. Stick onto skewers and grill directly on the charcoal grill for 10-15 minutes, turning as needed. Sprinkle occasionally with more spice mixture. Remove from grill and place 1 tablespoon of butter over each corn cob to serve.

For the tomatoes: Rinse the tomatoes, dry well and cut in half. Mix the salt and pepper with the oil and rub onto the tomatoes. Oil the cooking grate. Grill with the cut side down for 2 minutes, then turn and cook another 3 minutes. Season with sage and parsley before serving.
