- 1 tsp caster sugar

- freshly ground Black pepper
- 18 ozs thick Asparagus

Preparation steps

Heat the grill.

Mix together the lemon juice, oil, sugar, salt and pepper to taste to form a smooth emulsion

Arrange the asparagus on a baking tray and brush with olive oil. Grill until tender, with the tips slightly browned.

Place the asparagus on a serving plate and drizzle the lemon vinaigrette over. Garnish with lime and lemon slices.
