- 9 ozs hominy (soaked overnight in 1000 ml water)
- ⅞ cup sweetened condensed milk
- ⅞ cup Coconut milk
- 1 cup milk
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon (plus extra to decorate)
- 3 cloves
- sugar to taste)
- 1 cup Shredded coconut

Preparation steps
1.
Put the hominy and soaking water in a pan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer gently for about 50 minutes until soft.
2.
Add the condensed milk, coconut milk and milk and mix well. Add the spices and 1 tablespoon of sugar.
3.
Bring to a boil and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until slightly thickened. Remove the whole spices. Stir in the coconut and sweeten if necessary.
4.
Spoon into serving bowls and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
