- 150 grams Cranberry
- 700 milliliters dry Red wine
- 100 milliliters Port wine
- 1 Orange (zested)
- 4 cloves
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 1 Cardamom (pressed)
- 1 Star anise
- 1 pc fresh ginger (peeled about 1.5 cm and sliced)
- 80 grams brown sugar (more or less as desired)
- 1 red, small Apple

Preparation steps
1.
Rinse and the cranberries and remove tough stems.
2.
Heat the red wine together with the port wine. Add the orange zest, cranberries, spices and ginger in the saucepan and heat until just before the boiling point. Sweeten to taste. Cook for 10-15 minutes.
3.
Rinse the apple, quarter, remove core and seeds and cut into narrow columns. Add to the mulled wine, let stand briefly, pour into glasses and serve.
