- leftover macaroni and cheese
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp Chili powder
- ½ tsp peppers
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp sugar
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 egg
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup flour
- Oil (for frying)

Preparation steps
1.
Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop leftover macaroni and cheese into balls.

Freeze for 2 hours, or until firm.

In a medium bowl ?mix bread crumbs with spices. In a separate medium bowl, whisk egg and milk. In a third bowl or dish, add the flour.

Bread the frozen balls by first coating with flour, then dipping into the egg and milk mixture, then coating well with the breadcrumbs. Let sit about 15 minutes to all the balls to defrost a little.
5.
Fry at 180°C | 350F until well-browned, at least 3 minutes to make sure they are cooked through. Serve.
