12 King prawn (peeled and deveined)
125 grams Rice noodles
1 tsp Turmeric
1 Tbsp soy sauce

Preparation steps

Heat 1 liter (approximately 1 quart) water with turmeric, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Add the rice noodles, remove from heat and let stand for about 3 minutes. Drain the pasta through a colander and drain. Sprinkle each shrimp lightly with salt and pepper and wrap firmly with the noodles. Place on a baking pan and let the pasta dry slightly.

Meanwhile, heat the oil in a deep saucepan or in a fryer to 170°C (approximately 350°F), (it is hot enough when bubbles appear on the handle of a wooden spoon when immersed in the oil). Add the shrimp, one at a time, and fry until golden. Arrange on plates and serve immediately garnished with lime halves and dill.
