Preparation steps

1.

Don't wash the elderflowers. Rinse the lemons in hot water, then slice. Bring the sugar and 2 quarts of water to a boil. Stir until the sugar has dissolved.

2.

Remove from the heat and let cool. Add to a large carafe with the lemon slices and elderflowers. Seal tightly and let infuse for at least 2 days. Pass through a strainer into bottles.

3.

Dilute with cold water or mineral water, to taste.
