- 2 tsps granulated sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
- freshly ground Black pepper (to taste)
- 1 clove garlic cloves peeled and finely chopped (optional)
- 2 english Cucumber (peeled and cut lengthwise into bite-size pieces)
- 1 small Red onion (peeled and cut into thin rings)
- 2 Tbsps chopped, fresh Dill (plus extra for garnish)

Preparation steps

In a large bowl, whisk together the vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Add in the cucumbers, red onions, and fresh chopped dill; toss to coat. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes. Serve as a side dish.
