- 1 shallot
- 1 garlic clove
- 7 ozs Chicken breasts
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 1 Tbsp flour
- ⅔ cup poultry broth
- ⅜ cup cream (30% fat)
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 1 organic lemon
- 12 ozs Penne
- 1 cup peas
- 1 Tbsp finely chopped parsley

Preparation steps
1.
Peel and finely chop the shallot and garlic.
2.
Wash the chicken breast and pat dry. Slice into thin strips.
3.
Saute the chicken, shallot and garlic in hot butter. Sprinkle the flour on top. Mix and saute briefly.
4.
Add the broth and cream while stirring. Season with salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Simmer over low heat for approximately 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
5.
Zest the lemon and squeeze out the juice.
6.
Cook the penne in well salted boiling water until al dente.
7.
Add the parsley, lemon zest to the cream sauce. Season with a little lemon juice, salt and pepper.
8.
Divide the well drained noodles among the plates. Pour the sauce over the top and serve.
