½ liter milk
6 tablespoons Cornmeal (more, if needed)
1 small jar apple sauce (unsweetened)
1 sprig mint
2 teaspoons honey

Preparation steps

1.

Bring milk to a boil. Gradually sprinkle in cornmeal, stirring constantly. Simmer 5-10 minutes over low heat. If porridge is too thin, add additional cornmeal.

Drain applesauce and puree with mint and honey. Stir into cornmeal porridge and season to taste. Serve porridge hot, garnished with additional mint if desired.
