- 2 garlic cloves
- 50 grams softened butter
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 8 slices Rye bread
- 4 Tbsps Mayonnaise
- Red pepper flakes
- 8 thin slices Corned Beef
- 8 slices Hard cheese (such as Edam, Emmental)
- Sauerkraut (canned)

Preparation steps
1.
Peel the garlic cloves and pass through a press into the butter. Season the butter with salt and pepper, and stir to combine. Spread the mayonnaise onto 4 slices of bread.

Sprinkle with the chili flakes, and top with 2 slices of corned beef and 2 slices of cheese. Drain the sauerkraut thoroughly, and squeeze if necessary. Top each sandwich with 1-2 tablespoons of sauerkraut.
3.
Spread the remaining slices of bread with the garlic butter. Place on top of the sandwiches. Place under the broiler, or in a sandwich maker for 2-3 minutes. Halve the sandwiches diagonally and serve.
