- 12 Lychee
- 3 Tbsps cane sugar
- 8 Cape gooseberries
- 2 Kiwi
- 2 Banana
- 1 small Pineapple
- 1 ripe Mango
- 1 Star fruit
- 1 lemon (juice and zest)
Preparation steps

Peel the fresh lychees. Pull the dry shell from the gooseberries backwards. Peel the kiwis and cut into slices. Peel the banana and cut into slices. Peel the pineapple, remove core and cut into quarters lengthwise, then cut into cubes. Peel the mango, remove the flesh from the core and dice.

Rinse, dry and cut the star fruit into slices. Mix the fruit except for the kiwis and gooseberries in a bowl. Mix cane sugar and lemon juice and zest in a pot with a little water and heat until it has dissolved, then let cool slightly. Then mix well with the fruit. Place in dessert bowls decoratively and serve garnished with kiwis and gooseberries.
