4 thick Cod (about 200 grams)

4 slices day-old white bread
40 grams soft butter
1 red chili pepper (finely chopped)
1 Tbsp grated Lime zest
2 Tbsps olive oil (to fry)

Preparation steps

1.

Debark the white bread and crumble in the electric knife mill.

2.

Beat the cream and butter together until fluffy. Stir in the white bread crumbs, chile pepper and lime zest, and season with salt and pepper.

3.

Season the cold fillets with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a pan and fry the cod fillets on both sides for about 2 minutes.

4.

Take out the fried cod fillets from the pan and place on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.

5.

Distribute the bread crumbs mixture ovet the cod fillets and bake in a preheated oven at 240°C (fan: 220°C, gas mark 4-5) (approximately 465°F) for 4-5 minutes.
