This classic watermelon margarita has way less added sugar and chemicals than store-bought mix and is bursting with fresh summer flavor.
For a non-alcoholic variety for children, substitute the tequila for pineapple or mango juice.

- 1 ½ cups cubed Watermelon
- 1 cup Tequila
- ½ cup Orange liqueur
- ½ cup Lime juice
- 1 Tbsp powdered sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 cups cubed Ice
- coarse Sea salt or sugar; for rim (optional)
- sliced Limes (for garnish)
- Watermelon (for garnish)

Preparation steps

Puree all ingredients in a blender. Wet the outside rim of the glass with a fresh lime wedge. Fill a saucer or bowl with salt or sugar. Lightly press the rim into the salt or sugar while slowly turning the glass so that only the outer edge is covered. Divide margaritas among glasses and garnish with lime slices and watermelon balls.
