Preparation steps
1.
Rinse carrot, peel and cut into julienne strips. Thaw peas. Rinse scallions and cut diagonally into .5 cm (approximately 1/4 inch) thick rings. Cook pasta according to package directions in plenty of salted water. Five minutes before pasta is done, add carrot sticks, peas and scallions and finish cooking. Drain pasta and vegetables and let cool. Cut cheddar cheese into julienne strips. Cut Kassler or turkey into cubes of about 1 to 1.5 cm in length (approximately 1/2 to 3/4 inches). Add the cheese and meat to the pasta-vegetable mixture and toss everything vigorously. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
2.
Mix all ingredients for dressing together until smooth and season well. Spread dressing over the salad and toss well. Season to taste.
