- 250 grams Pastry flour
- 150 grams powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 150 grams butter
- For decorating
- 80 grams Candied fruit
- 100 grams unsalted Peanuts
- 4 Tbsps sugar
- 150 grams powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice
- Red Food coloring
- 50 grams chopped Peanuts
Preparation steps

Combine flour, powdered sugar, egg, cinnamon and butter and knead into a dough. Wrap in foil and chill for 1 hour in the refrigerator. Roll out on a floured surface, cut out stars and boots, place on a greased baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 180°C (approximately 350°C).

Mix the powdered sugar with lemon juice, set aside 1/3 of the icing in a separate bowl and color the rest with red food coloring. Decorate the boots with the red icing, outline them with the white and sprinkle with chopped peanuts. Melt the sugar, let it caramelize, and mix with the nuts and fruits. Place small heaps of the mixture on the stars.
