1 cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup Corn starch
¼ tsp Baking powder
1 pinch salt
¼ cup butter (melted)
To decorate
14 ozs Dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids)
cup milk
1 cup Shredded coconut

1 Small bowl, 1 Roasting pan, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Carving fork, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Slotted spatula, 1 Aluminum foil, 1 Mortar

Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Grease a 20cm|8" square tin.

Whisk together the eggs, sugar and vanilla in a mixing bowl until thick and pale. Sift in the dry ingredients and gently fold in. Stir in the melted butter until blended.

Put into the tin and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and springy to the touch. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool completely.

To decorate: put the chocolate and milk in a pan and heat over a low heat until the chocolate has melted. Remove from the heat and allow to cool and thicken slightly.

Cut the cake into squares. Using a fork or skewer, dip the squares into the chocolate to coat. Dip the base of each square into the coconut. Place on non-stick baking paper to set. When the coating has almost set sprinkle with the remaining coconut.
