- 3 very ripe Banana
- 1 Tbsp milk
- ½ cup butter (softened)
- 1 ¾ cups self-rising flour
- ⅔ cup caster sugar
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 egg
- ½ cup Chocolate chip
Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 160°C (140° fan) 325°F gas 3. Grease a 900g|2lb loaf tin and line the base with non-stick baking paper.

Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl and add the remaining ingredients, except for the chocolate chips. Whisk well until blended.
3.
Stir in the chocolate chips and spoon into the tin.
4.
Smooth the top and bake for 40-45 minutes, until risen and golden brown. Cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool completely.
