- salt
- 3 ¾ cups sugar Snap pea
- 2 carrots
- 1 Bean sprout
- 2 scallions
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 4 Tbsps sesame oil
- ⅜ cup Vegetable broth
- light soy sauce

Preparation steps
1.
Cook the rice in well salted water according to package directions.
2.
Wash, clean and halve (or alternately, cut into thirds) the sugar snap peas.
3.
Peel the carrots. Slice into long thin strips.
4.
Wash and thoroughly drain the bean sprouts.
5.
Wash, clean and slice the spring onions into rings.
6.
Peel and finely chop the garlic.
7.
Briefly saute the garlic, ginger and turmeric in 2 tbsp of the oil until fragrant. Stir in the rice and continue sauteing for another 2-3 minutes.
8.
Saute the sugar snap peas and carrots in the remaining oil for 1-2 minutes. Mix in the bean sprouts and spring onions and add a little broth. Cover and simmer gently for 4-5 minutes until cooked. Season with the soy sauce and serve over the rice.
