3 ½ ozs Gooseberry
16 ozs Kiwi (peeled and chopped)
1 onion (chopped)
3 chili peppers (seeds removed, sliced)
1 Tbsp grated, fresh ginger
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup Cider vinegar

Preparation steps

1.
Put all the ingredients into a large heavy-based pan. Heat gently, stirring, until the sugar has dissolved.
2.
Increase the heat and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer until the mixture is thick and pulpy.
3.
Spoon into hot sterilised jars, cover, seal and label.
