- 1.7 kilograms Strawberries
- 1 red Pepperoncini
- 1 lemon
- 500 grams preserving sugar

Preparation steps

Rinse and hull strawberries and toss with the preserving sugar in a pot. Let macerate until juicy, then squeeze lemon juice into pot. Rinse chile peppers and cut diagonally into thin rings. Add to pot.

Bring to a boil slowly, stirring constantly, and cook for about 3-4 minutes, allowing to bubble gently. Cool slightly and ladle into jars. Let cool before covering and storing in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
