- 4 Chicken breasts (each about 150 grams)
- 4 Tbsps coarse-grained Mustard
- 2 stems Sage
- 4 slices Cheese (i.e Gouda)
- 8 slices Bacon
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- freshly ground peppers
- 200 milliliters chicken stock
- 2 Tbsps butter
- salt

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Rinse the chicken breast and pat dry. Brush with mustard and each cover each with 2-3 sage leaves. Wrap with the cheese and bacon.

Secure the bacon and cheese with toothpicks and sear in hot oil. Add the peppers, and deglaze with the stock. Cook for about 25 minutes in the oven. Remove, stir and season to taste. Serve garnished with the remaining sage leaves.
