Bacon-Wrapped Chicken

- 4 Chicken breasts (about 120 g)

- 120 grams Bacon (strips)
- 250 grams white Asparagus
- 250 grams green Asparagus
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 150 milliliters Chicken broth
- 200 milliliters Whipped cream
Preparation steps
Rinse the chicken breasts and pat dry with a paper towel. Season with pepper on all sides, wrap each breast with bacon and secure with toothpicks. Peel the white asparagus, trim off about 2 cm (approximately 3/4 inch) from the bottom and chop. Rinse the green asparagus, trim off about 2 cm (approximately 3/4 inch) from the bottom and chop.
Heat the butter and olive oil in a large frying pan, Sauté the chicken breasts on all sides and add the asparagus. Season with salt and pepper, and add the chicken broth. Simmer over medium temperature until the liquid has evaporated. Turn the asparagus and chicken occasionally. Add the cream and bring to boil. Reduce the temperature, cover and simmer about 5 minutes. Remove the lid, and bring the cream to a boil. Reduce until the sauce reaches a creamy consistency. Season with salt and pepper.
