- For the skewers
- 4 Chicken breasts (each 160 grams)
- 100 milliliters light soy sauce
- For the sweet chili sauce
- 100 milliliters Sweet chili sauce (finished product)
- 2 chili peppers (finely diced)
- 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 50 milliliters Chicken broth
- 2 Tbsps sesame oil
- fresh Fresh herbs (as desired, such as cilantro, basil or cress)

Preparation steps

For the sweet chili sauce, mix sweet chili sauce in a blender with chicken broth, sesame oil, 4-5 herb leaves, garlic and chile peppers, puree and then let rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

For the skewers, cut chicken fillets into 2 cm (approximately 1 inch) wide, very thin strips, marinate in soy sauce and let rest covered in the refrigerator. Remove chicken skewers from the refrigerator, drain and stick on 8 wooden skewers in a wavy pattern. Cook for about 8 minutes under a preheated oven broiler, watching carefully and turning occasionally. Brush skewers with sweet chilli sauce and arrange on plates with the herbs. Serve with remaining chili sauce.
