Chewy Bread Knots

Mix the flour, yeast, butter and salt together in a bowl and stir in 210ml of warm water. Bring the mixture into a dough with your hands and knead for 10 minutes.
Leave to rest in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Divide the dough into four even pieces and roll each one into a long sausage. Twist into a classic pretzel shape and transfer to an oiled baking tray. Prove for 45 minutes in a warm place.
Preheat the oven to 220°C (200 fan) | 425°F | gas 7.
When the pretzels are well risen, brush them with egg and sprinkle with sugar nibs then bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
