- 350 grams Whole wheat flour
- 300 grams ground almonds
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 150 grams honey
- 2 egg yolks
- 150 grams butter
- juiced lemons
- 1 generous pinch cinnamon
- 1 generous pinch cloves
- 1 generous pinch Nutmeg
- 1 generous pinch Cardamom
- 500 grams Cherries

Preparation steps
1.
Combine flour with almonds, egg yolk, honey, baking powder and softened butter. Quickly mix into a smooth batter. Add spices and mix well.

Rinse and pit cherries, add to the batter. Butter baking pan and spread with batter, smooth. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 40-50 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool. Cut into slices and serve.
